Software Development Engineer in Test

Responsibilities

• Develop and create test ware, including deliverables, plans, environments, and data set-ups for eDiscovery technology.
• Create automated test scripts and methods to maximize efficiency, reduce human error, and shorten release cycles.
• Execute manual test cases to ensure software correctness and accuracy.
• Maintain high-quality test code principles, focusing on code coverage, static code analysis, and reusable automation modules.
• Stay current with industry best practices in software testing and integrate new technologies into the workflow.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in an SDET or Associate SDET role.
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages such as Java or C#.
• Hands-on experience testing web and desktop applications.
• Experience with functional, regression, and end-to-end testing methodologies.
• Proficiency with QA automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, including Agile, CI/CD, and code quality.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SQL queries for database validations.
• Working experience with Docker.
• Experience with Virtual Machines, Windows Services, and website configuration.
• Familiarity with defect management tools like JIRA, TestRail, MS Azure, or HP ALM.
