Responsibilities

• Build and maintain automated tests for robot software, APIs, backend services, web applications, and end-to-end workflows
• Perform manual, exploratory, regression, and release testing for new and existing features
• Validate UI implementation against product requirements and design specifications
• Conduct performance, load, stress, and reliability testing for critical software workflows
• Test account systems, authentication, authorization, permissions, and data security flows
• Validate software releases at software and robot level, including regression, fault-injection, and recovery testing

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as an SDET, QA Automation Engineer, or Software Engineer in Test
• Strong coding ability in TypeScript, JavaScript, Rust, Python, Java, or Go
• Experience testing modern web applications, APIs, backend services, and cloud-based software
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium
• Experience with performance or load testing tools such as k6, JMeter, Gatling, or Locust
• Strong attention to detail, debugging ability, and clear written communication

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as the first or early QA/SDET hire at a startup
• Familiarity with CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, databases, and observability tools
• Interest in robotics, AI platforms, or physical AI systems
