Software Development Engineer In Test

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automation frameworks for Web, API, and performance testing.
• Work closely with developers to automate new features and perform manual testing for B2B SaaS products.
• Own the complete architecture of automation framework planning and design.
• Set up automation infrastructure and configure triggers within CI/CD pipelines.
• Contribute to all levels of the test pyramid and build high-quality end-to-end automation scripts.
• Monitor and debug process results while staying up-to-date with new testing tools and strategies.
• Lead testing for complex software systems, focusing on UI, UX, functional, and optimization testing.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience as an SDET, Software Tester, or in a similar role.
• Bachelor's degree in B.Tech, BE, BCA, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or shell scripting.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, RestAssured, TestNG, and Maven.
• Strong experience in both manual and automation testing for Web and APIs.
• Solid knowledge of SQL and Database Management Systems (DBMS).
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Knowledge of client-server architecture and backend protocols.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as ISTQB, CAST, or CSTE.
• Experience with performance and/or security testing.
• Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience working with B2B SaaS products involving dashboards and complex workflows.
