Software Development Engineer III

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering, design, development, and deployment requirements
• Provide technical expertise in the Big Data space including Apache Spark, Kafka, Flink, and Hadoop stack
• Lead the adoption and contribution to open source Big Data technologies
• Design and implement APIs, abstractions, and integration patterns for distributed computing
• Interface daily with Fortune 500 customers to understand strategic requirements
• Define technical requirements, data extraction, transformation, and job automation

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in technical development and coding
• Hands-on experience with Core Java or Scala
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or Scala
• Strong understanding of Algorithms, Data Structures, and OOPs concepts
• Experience with Big Data technologies or distributed computing
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or IT

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to functional programming
• Experience with third-party libraries and frameworks
• Experience with NoSQL stores like Cassandra or HBase
