Software Development Engineer III

Responsibilities

• Own meaningful pieces of the planning platform including feature pipelines, model serving, and experimentation frameworks
• Drive engineering quality through testing, observability, performance, and operability
• Use AI coding tools fluently and identify AI-augmented capabilities for the platform
• Mentor junior engineers on design, code review, and operational ownership
• Partner with data scientists and planning operators to translate operational problems into engineering work

Requirements

• 5-8 years of software engineering experience with ownership of production systems
• Track record of leading workstreams end-to-end with small teams
• Strong fundamentals in data systems, APIs, pipeline orchestration, and production operations
• Experience with ML-adjacent infrastructure such as feature pipelines or model serving
• AI-native engineering approach with experience using AI tools to improve shipping and testing
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
