Software Development Engineer III - MLOps

Responsibilities

• Upgrade ML assets management systems for better developer experience and governance
• Build and optimize model serving infrastructure focusing on latency and cost
• Architect efficient inference pipelines across various acceleration options
• Implement cost-efficient, enterprise-scale solutions
• Collaborate with MLEs, QA, and DevOps engineers in a distributed team
• Evaluate and implement new technologies and tools
• Contribute to architectural decisions for distributed ML systems

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with Python
• Experience with model lifecycle management (MLFlow, Weights & Biases)
• Experience with data management ecosystems
• Experience with ML frameworks, particularly PyTorch
• Experience optimizing ML models with hardware acceleration (AWS Neuron, ONNX, TensorRT)
• Proven experience building and operating AWS serverless architectures
• Deep understanding of event-driven processing (SQS/SNS) and serverless caching
• Experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration tools
• Strong knowledge of RESTful API design
• Proficiency in writing secure code and using static code analysis tools
• Strong Computer Science fundamentals in algorithms and complexity analysis

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with model compilation, quantization, and performance profiling
• Experience working in regulated industries with strict cloud-native compliance requirements
