Software Development Engineer III (Golang Developer)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices in Golang
• Build high-performance REST/gRPC APIs serving large-scale traffic
• Write clean, efficient, and production-grade code with proper testing
• Optimize existing services for performance, scalability, and reliability
• Work on concurrency-heavy and distributed systems use cases
• Integrate message queues like Kafka or RabbitMQ for asynchronous processing
• Design efficient database schemas and optimize queries
• Participate in code reviews and maintain engineering best practices
• Contribute to monitoring, logging, and production issue resolution
• Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver features end-to-end

Requirements

• Minimum 4+ years of hands-on Golang experience in production systems
• Strong understanding of concurrency, Goroutines, and microservices architecture
• Experience building REST APIs and/or gRPC services
• Hands-on experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Strong knowledge of SQL databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Experience with Redis or similar caching systems
• Production experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience working on AWS or GCP environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in high-traffic consumer tech platforms
• Exposure to Elasticsearch or real-time systems
• Understanding of observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana
