Software Development Engineer III - DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to facilitate efficient and reliable software delivery
• Envision, implement, and roll out cutting-edge DevOps tooling and automation to streamline development processes
• Manage multi-environment infrastructure deployed in AWS, comprising Dockerized microservices in AWS ECS and various data stores
• Leverage Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible) to reduce manual efforts and increase efficiency
• Develop strategies to optimize cloud costs while maintaining system performance and reliability
• Practice sustainable incident response strategies and participate in postmortems to improve system reliability
• Collaborate with Engineering and Operations teams to define and implement best practices for operational excellence

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5+ years of proven experience as a DevOps Engineer
• Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Ansible, etc.)
• Extensive experience with cloud computing (AWS, GCP, or Azure) to design and optimize cloud-based solutions
• In-depth knowledge of Docker, container networking, storage, orchestration, and troubleshooting
• Strong experience with monitoring and alerting tools such as Datadog, Grafana, or Prometheus
• Functional knowledge of microservice architecture and hands-on experience with Kubernetes
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash or Python
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions
• Functional knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases and experience optimizing performance at scale

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Professional Certification
• Deep expertise in Kubernetes (EKS preferred), including cluster architecture, networking, and autoscaling
• Previous experience deploying and managing machine learning models and data pipelines
• Familiarity with Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, and other distributed infrastructure components
