Software Development Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Build efficient, reusable, next-generation server-side applications
• Explore and design dynamic data-driven experiences for cloud-based platforms
• Architect, develop, and test highly interactive backend web applications and reusable components
• Identify and communicate best practices for application architecture and distributed systems
• Participate in all phases of the software development cycle within a Scrum environment
• Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Frontend developers to implement versatile backend solutions and APIs
• Actively participate in design and code reviews to build robust applications

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in technology or a related field
• 2+ years of professional experience
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript and frameworks like Express.js or NestJS
• Strong understanding of Data structures, algorithms, and backend design
• In-depth knowledge of RESTful APIs, Microservices, and database systems (SQL/NoSQL)
• Ability to write well-abstracted, reusable, and highly performant code
