About the role
Responsibilities
- Implement features end-to-end across data pipelines, model-serving plumbing, integrations, and operator-facing tooling
- Own code quality through typing, testing, and observability
- Use AI coding tools for scaffolding, refactors, and test generation
- Monitor services and pipelines, responding to alerts and fixing issues
- Improve operational health via dashboards, runbooks, and alerts
- Partner with planning operators, data scientists, and engineers to surface tradeoffs and provide estimates
- Participate in design reviews and contribute to code reviews
Requirements
- 2 to 4 years of professional software engineering experience shipping production systems
- Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, debugging, and clean code
- Experience across the stack including data pipelines, APIs, and ML infrastructure basics
- Demonstrable AI-native engineering practice using AI coding assistants and augmented testing
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
