Software Development Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize SaaS connectors for multiple applications, managing nuances like API limits and data syncing
• Contribute to customer-facing REST API layers, including endpoints, authentication, and scalability
• Resolve performance issues in data pipelines and maintain high-quality, efficient codebases
• Collaborate on feature scoping and implementation, owning smaller components end-to-end
• Document integrations and contribute to continuous system improvements
• Support junior engineers through code reviews and promoting best practices for system reliability

Requirements

• 3-4 years of experience in SaaS integrations, API development, or scalable data systems
• B Tech in Computer Science or an equivalent degree from a reputed college
• Strong proficiency in Java with a solid grasp of data structures and algorithms
• Solid object-oriented design skills and experience applying patterns for maintainable integrations
• Hands-on experience with concurrent systems or data pipelines
• Deep understanding of REST API development and request/response handling
• Analytical mindset for troubleshooting complex challenges like schema drifts and data inconsistencies
