Software Development Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Represent the Engineering Lab Infrastructure Services (ELIS) team in Hyderabad
• Evaluate and review new technologies for applicability to product architecture and design
• Present, evangelize, and communicate technical concepts to partner teams and stakeholders
• Establish and maintain continuous improvement processes based on feedback
• Collaborate with global partner teams and coordinate efforts between US and Hyderabad team members
• Support cloud and data center infrastructure for internal Engineering Labs worldwide

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
• 4+ years of software infrastructure management experience
• In-depth knowledge of on-prem and public cloud technology
• Strong experience with virtualization platforms such as OpenStack, VMware, Hyper-V, or KVM
• Understanding of L2/L3 networking, routing protocols, and high availability systems
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or Perl
• Familiarity with Linux and Windows systems engineering

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to public cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
• Knowledge of Software Defined Networking (SDN)
• Experience with storage technologies and network configurations
