Software Development Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Drive implementation decisions and deliver functional components for the STARK platform
• Architect, design, and deploy large-scale, complex big data applications
• Build a next-generation, horizontally-scalable platform for real-time treasury and cashflow tracking
• Mentor junior engineers to develop logical and maintainable software
• Work with global engineering and business teams to plan and execute platform requirements

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• 2+ years of experience in design or architecture (design patterns, reliability, and scaling)
• 3+ years of experience in the Video Games Industry (supporting title development, release, or live ops)
• Proficiency in at least one software programming language

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, and testing
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field
• Experience with multi-tenant microservice-oriented architectures
