Software Development Engineer for Implementations

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of AI-driven automation and software applications for SnapPay and BillMatrix products
• Design and implement software applications, including coding, testing, and debugging to ensure optimal performance
• Partner with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders, such as client IT and payment gateway teams, to support automated implementations
• Translate complex requirements into actionable technical specifications
• Maintain existing codebases and lead peer review processes to ensure high engineering standards
• Analyze and document system incidents to enable efficient troubleshooting of complex problems

Requirements

• 6+ years of software development experience, preferably in Fintech, payments, or B2B/e-commerce environments
• 4+ years of professional experience with Java and Python
• Proficiency in Node.js for full-stack automation workflows
• 3+ years of experience in automation engineering, including designing and scaling frontend and backend tools
• 3+ years of experience with SQL databases
• 3+ years of experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and CI/CD practices
• 3+ years of experience working within Agile frameworks

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience implementing AI/ML solutions or 1+ years with Generative AI services
• Knowledge of card payment flows, including tokenization, authorization, and settlement
• Proven experience integrating large-scale enterprise ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix shell scripting for backend task automation
