Software Development Engineer

Responsibilities

• Implement, migrate, and support credit card systems using mainframe technology and VisionPLUS
• Ensure understanding and application of security protocols used in credit card related systems
• Prepare and review technical documentation including BRDs, FSDs, and architecture diagrams
• Prioritize and manage workloads effectively to meet quick turnaround requirements for issues and new features
• Work independently with minimal supervision while taking full responsibility for project outcomes

Requirements

• 6-10 years of experience with VisionPLUS, specifically with CMS (primary) or LMS, TRAMS, or FAS subsystems
• Hands-on expertise in COBOL, Sort, JCL, and Easytrieve
• Strong understanding of credit card security protocols
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to produce high-quality technical documentation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on large-scale data migration projects
• Proficiency with Rexx, SAS, Selcopy, or Flex
