Software Development Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, test, troubleshoot, and refine system and software requirements for nuclear power plant monitoring systems
• Design, code, test, debug, configure, maintain, and document software throughout the full product life cycle
• Conduct feasibility studies, prototyping, and create/review design and formal test documentation
• Integrate software into respective systems and support deployed systems by fixing software-related issues
• Collaborate with internal and external customers to capture requirements and ensure a strong customer focus

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of software development experience using C, C++, or C#
• 1+ years of experience in a software project lead role
• Proficiency with Microsoft Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, and Git
• Experience with VMWare Workstation Pro or similar virtualization software
• Strong technical documentation skills and experience with formal testing/integration processes
