Software Development Engineer

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of software applications using appropriate programming languages
• Participate in agile development practices, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Perform code reviews and provide feedback to support continuous process improvement
• Implement testing protocols to identify bugs, enhance performance, and ensure application reliability
• Debug software to optimize performance and improve user experience
• Write and edit technical documentation to support software design and application requirements
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance to ensure applications meet technical specifications and user needs

Requirements

• 0-2 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in Python programming
• Experience with Agile Software Development methodologies
• Understanding of API Development
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion in significant matters

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field
• Previous participation in the Comcast intern program or prior experience as a Comcast intern
