Software Development Engineer

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and integrate new software and web applications
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior-level engineers
• Research, write, and edit technical documentation, including software designs and test results
• Work closely with Quality Assurance teams to ensure applications meet specifications
• Monitor and evaluate competitive applications and industry practices
• Present and defend architectural and design choices to internal audiences

Requirements

• 5-7 years of relevant software development work experience
• Strong knowledge of software design, architecture, and engineering methodologies
• Proven ability in technical documentation and project management
• Experience with process design and redesign
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion in significant matters
