Software Development Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data-driven software solutions that integrate existing and new systems.
• Ensure alignment with Industrial IT (OT) Security requirements, specifically following IEC 62443 and ISO 27001 standards.
• Build, validate, and manage analytical datasets and data models to ensure quality, integrity, and traceability.
• Perform rigorous data quality checks, cleanup, and maintain data lineage across complex datasets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, engineering, and operations to ensure secure integration between IT and OT systems.
• Contribute to risk management, security assessments, and audit readiness to promote OT security awareness.

Requirements

• Experience with cybersecurity principles, including risk management and secure system design (ISO 27001 or IEC 62443).
• Experience working in industrial or operational environments such as manufacturing or logistics.
• Strong understanding of data architecture, data modeling, and data quality principles (SQL Oracle, MS Server, etc.).
• Proficiency in software engineering principles, version control, and object-oriented programming.
• Technical expertise in languages and frameworks including Angular 2+, Java, Python, Node.js, SQL, and CSS.
• Knowledge of networking concepts, system integration, APIs, and web services.
• Familiarity with data visualization libraries such as D3.js or Highcharts.
