Software Development Engineer, AWS Security

Responsibilities

• Develop software to collect, enrich, and vend Linux security telemetry data at massive scale.
• Design and architect high-performing, scalable, and highly available solutions to protect against sophisticated threats.
• Take end-to-end ownership of the full software development life cycle, including scoping, design, development, testing, and global deployment.
• Optimize storage and compute resources to improve efficiency for AWS services and customers.
• Collaborate with a diverse team of engineers through documentation, design reviews, code reviews, and pairing.

Requirements

• Professional software development experience (non-internship).
• Experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
• Proficiency in at least one software programming language.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
• Experience with the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, source control management, build processes, and operations.
• Experience working with Go, Python, or TypeScript.
