Software Development Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable solutions using cloud-native architectures and microservices in a large distributed computing environment
• Build and maintain resilient, fault-tolerant, and cost-effective distributed systems
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to design, build, and operate innovative products and services
• Write clean, maintainable code following best practices and design patterns
• Participate in code reviews, technical documentation, and agile processes including CI/CD
• Demonstrate operational excellence through monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving production issues

Requirements

• Experience with at least one general-purpose programming language (Java, Python, C++, C#, Go, Rust, or TypeScript)
• Knowledge of data structure implementation, basic algorithm development, and object-oriented design principles
• Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related STEM field
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience from previous technical internships or demonstrated project experience
• Experience with Cloud platforms (preferably AWS) or Database systems (SQL and NoSQL)
• Experience with AI tools for development productivity or contributing to open-source projects
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
• Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
