Software Development Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and architect new and existing systems with a focus on reliability and scaling
• Develop scalable, AI-powered customer engagement services within the AWS Applied AI Solutions organization
• Build and maintain highly reliable, scalable, and secure engagement services like Amazon Connect
• Contribute to the full software development life cycle to deliver intuitive technology solutions

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software development experience (non-internship)
• 2+ years of experience in system design or architecture, including design patterns and scaling
• Proficiency in at least one software programming language

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience across the full software development life cycle (coding standards, code reviews, testing, and operations)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent technical field
