Software Development Engineer Advisor II

Responsibilities

• Manage daily support, maintenance, and long-term improvements for enterprise applications to ensure compatibility with mission requirements
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and developers to design cohesive project strategies aligned with business objectives
• Participate in daily standups and assist the project team in resolving impediments
• Collect requirements, determine appropriate coding designs, and implement changes
• Create and perform test scripts and cases to validate results
• Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to the operations team
• Fix bugs and defects reported by clients and provide support during production incidents, including root cause analysis
• Participate in an on-call rotation to provide after-hours and weekend support

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
• 4 years of software development experience in enterprise environments
• Proficiency in building scalable applications using Microsoft .NET, C#, ASP.NET, and SQL Server
• Experience with .NET Core, Web API, LINQ, MVC, and JSON
• Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud services, including Logic Apps, Function Apps, Web Apps, and Azure Data Lake
• Experience working with microservices architecture and Azure Entra ID
• Knowledge of implementing SAML-based SSO, MFA, and integration with enterprise IAM platforms
