About the role
Responsibilities
- Analyze complex processes and design software solutions within the real-time payment space
- Design and develop high-throughput microservices using reactive design patterns for protocol translation and enrichment
- Deliver end-to-end solutions for Payment APIs and high-volume transaction APIs for omnichannel platforms
- Develop responsive, modular UI components using React, Angular, TypeScript, TanStack Router, and Tailwind CSS
- Integrate frontend interfaces with backend APIs and ensure an optimized user experience
- Develop and deploy services on AWS using cloud-native components and best practices for secure backend development
- Participate in the development of roadmaps and strategies for API specifications and Client Libraries/SDKs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of experience or an Advanced Degree with 5+ years of relevant experience
- 7+ years of experience with Java, REST, and microservices
- Full stack expertise in implementing complex digital and mobile systems, APIs, and microservices in large enterprise organizations
- Proficiency in React, Angular, TypeScript, TanStack Router, and Tailwind CSS
- Experience creating unit tests using JUnit and Mockito
- Knowledge of databases including Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, or DynamoDB
- Deep understanding of Object-oriented Programming and design patterns
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the payments industry
- Experience with AWS services such as SQS, SES, SWF, and SNS
- Experience with cloud platforms like PCF or API Management tools
- Experience implementing high-volume transaction processing applications
- Familiarity with quality and security scan tools such as Sonar, Fortify, and Web Inspect
- Experience with API integration testing using Postman or JMeter
