Software Developer

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and modernization of mission-critical enterprise applications using Java and GCP.
• Analyze and modernize legacy applications, including Oracle Stored Procedures and Informatica PowerCenter workflows.
• Design and develop scalable microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and cloud-native technologies.
• Build and optimize SQL queries, data pipelines, and cloud-based data solutions.
• Provision and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or Pulumi).
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Maven.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, code reviews, and architectural guidance to engineering teams.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot and Claude to improve productivity.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software development experience with Java-based enterprise applications.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as BigQuery, Cloud SQL, and Cloud Run.
• Strong programming proficiency in Java, Python, and PySpark.
• Expert SQL skills, including performance tuning and complex query development.
• Experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and enterprise Java frameworks.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Maven) and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or Pulumi).
• Strong analytical skills for assessing and modernizing legacy systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Informatica PowerCenter and Oracle PL/SQL.
• Experience with SAP Callidus integrations.
• Knowledge of Angular, Shell scripting, and Kubernetes.
• Background in enterprise modernization or large-scale cloud migration initiatives.
