Software Developer Team Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering efforts for the integrations team, including project planning, estimating, and work assignment
• Drive the full development lifecycle: designing, coding, documenting, testing, debugging, and tuning
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and QA to ensure high product quality
• Provide project management direction and motivation to a team of talented engineers
• Build tools and systems that simplify the setup of IXL for schools and large districts

Requirements

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
• Excellent programming skills in Java or other object-oriented languages
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in project management and time management
• Strong analytical reasoning and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Postgres and SQL
• Knowledge of Data Architecture
