Software Developer

Responsibilities

• Develop novel solutions to complex problems and present technical proposals to peers and management
• Implement high-quality, production-ready software using C++
• Perform detailed quantitative analysis of software performance and quality
• Improve the performance of massively parallel and highly scalable software platforms
• Research existing work in the field and applicable domains
• Create regression tests and regularly monitor software performance
• Quickly identify and fix bugs in production software

Requirements

• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• At least 3 years of professional software development experience
• Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming with C++
• Experience developing highly optimized, scalable distributed systems
• Solid understanding of software development for Linux environments
• Strong grasp of Computer Science fundamentals, algorithms, and computer systems concepts

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in Electronic Design Automation (EDA)
• Specific experience with lithography or optical proximity correction software
• Proven track record of developing features for large-scale software systems
