Software Developer

Responsibilities

• Write well-designed, testable, and efficient REST APIs using best software development practices
• Plan and execute sprint objectives and project milestones within a Scrum team
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and the development team to refine technical specifications
• Create and maintain comprehensive software documentation
• Participate in code reviews, merging, versioning, and promoting code through various environments
• Triage and problem-solve production incidents to restore services and perform root cause analysis

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Software Developer with a focus on REST APIs
• 3+ years of professional experience with the Express, Node, and TypeScript/JavaScript stack
• 3+ years of experience with unit and integration testing
• 3+ years of experience working within a microservice architecture and Agile/Scrum framework
• Experience with Splunk, Dynatrace, or equivalent logging and monitoring platforms
• Experience with monorepo architecture, microservices, and Cloud platforms
• Demonstrated experience with Git branching strategies
• Post-secondary education in Computer Science or Engineering
