Software Developer

Responsibilities

• Research, design, implement, and test software applications and specialized utility programs
• Analyze user needs and develop software solutions using computer science and mathematical analysis
• Generate deployment scripts and support field installations and configurations
• Troubleshoot, debug, and maintain existing software while documenting deficiency reports
• Coordinate database development within application areas
• Collaborate with hardware engineers, system administrators, and network specialists
• Develop software for real-time control of radar systems, target tracking, and communication channels
• Support simulations and software models for multi-spectral threat systems
• Ensure all products meet strict DoD cybersecurity standards

Requirements

• Proficiency in C++
• Experience with Ada or Pascal is beneficial
• Hands-on proficiency with Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
• Experience using Visual Studio and Qt Creator IDEs
• Active Secret security clearance (TS/SCI preferred)
• 3-10 years of experience with certification, OR 3-5 years with a BA/BS, OR a MA/MS with less than 3 years of experience
