Software Developer MES

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement MES projects at the interface of IT and production to optimize manufacturing processes
• Independently develop production software, including database programming
• Act as a technical point of contact for internal and external interfaces, specifically for REST services
• Perform sub-project management tasks
• Build and maintain interfaces to various systems such as Oracle, MSSQL, and ERP
• Design and connect software interfaces to S7 controllers for integration into existing production systems
• Create and maintain documentation and test procedures
• Communicate with external suppliers and customers regarding software interfaces

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or completed training as a Fachinformatiker for application development
• 3-5 years of professional experience in a similar position
• Profound programming knowledge in Visual C#.NET, SQL, REST, and WebAPI
• High level of mental flexibility and creativity
• Independent and assertive working style
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills
