Software Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, code, and test all components of modern web applications within the Operations Technology team.
• Contribute to the overall architecture and design of technology maintained by the development delivery team.
• Develop maintainable and testable solutions that meet specific requirement acceptance criteria.
• Liaise with business users and stakeholders to gather application requirements for post-trade operations.
• Ensure delivered systems are of production quality and adequately documented for business handover.
• Resolve third-line support issues in a professional and timely manner.
• Adhere to development best practices, coding standards, and regulatory compliance frameworks.

Requirements

• Proven experience with C# .NET.
• Experience with Docker and containerization.
• Proficiency with NoSQL or RDBMS databases.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of modern CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Experience with cloud technology, specifically AWS.
• Knowledge of BDD/TDD methodologies.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum development environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a regulated financial environment.
• Proficiency with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
• Exposure to JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, or GraphQL.
• Background in exchange or off-exchange traded operations and post-trade systems.
