Software Developer in Test

Responsibilities

• Work closely as an SDET on releases for SOTI products
• Create feature files and develop tests using BDD frameworks
• Perform code reviews and gap analysis to ensure high-quality implementations
• Work on reducing regression time to facilitate quicker releases
• Manage the end-to-end product release cycle
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, and Scrum Masters to manage test execution
• Participate in all Agile rituals including Sprint Planning, Grooming, and Demos
• Provide timely feedback and quality reports to leadership teams

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in software testing or development
• Strong proficiency in C# and OOPS concepts
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify complex testing scenarios
• Knowledge of API testing
• Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with BDD frameworks and test script creation (SpecFlow)
• Knowledge of database testing
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Microsoft Test Manager, Team Foundation Server, and Visual Studio
• Experience with regression, security, performance, and compatibility testing
• Strong debugging skills and knowledge of QA methodologies
