Software Developer I

Responsibilities

• Develop solutions that add value and efficiency across systems while minimizing technical debt
• Use AI agents and GitHub Copilot to implement .NET solutions from high-level Specs
• Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and stakeholders to meet product objectives
• Maintain a "Test First" mentality to ensure AI-generated code meets functional, security, and performance requirements
• Stay updated on technology trends and product roadmaps to guide development

Requirements

• Spec-Driven Development (SDD) and AI-native coding experience in VS Code
• Proficiency in .NET 8+ with C#
• Experience with SQL and Git
• Knowledge of debugging, observability, logging, and production support
• Experience with API contract testing and Unit Testing
• Understanding of RESTful web services
• Bachelor's degree in a computer-related subject or 18+ months of IT experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with MySQL or Postgres
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker
