Software Developer HMI/GUI

Responsibilities

• Develop modern HMI/GUI solutions for operating specialized foundation engineering construction machinery
• Implement high-performance and intuitive user interfaces, ranging from visualization to backend connectivity on embedded systems
• Collaborate closely with UX/UI design, system architecture, and hardware development teams to realize holistic operating concepts
• Conduct testing and validation of developments in laboratory settings and directly on machines (test grounds/construction sites)
• Actively contribute to the design of usability, operating concepts, and software architectures
• Gather, structure, and detail requirements in coordination with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable field
• Experience in developing user interfaces, ideally using Qt/QML and/or C++
• Strong interest in intuitive operating concepts and high-quality user experience
• Structured and independent working style with high motivation to learn new technologies
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills within interdisciplinary environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Embedded Linux
• Experience with version control using Git
• Familiarity with development processes and tools such as Jira and Confluence
• Knowledge of machine communication protocols including CAN, OPC UA, and Ethernet
