Software Developer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop user interfaces and visualizations for data discovery, analytic visualizations, and AI/ML big data analytics
• Develop services using modern techniques including REST, Java, JSON, Spring, Python, and JavaScript Web UI frameworks
• Utilize DevSecOps pipeline tools such as JIRA, Git, Junit, Jenkins, SonarQube, and Artifactory
• Support the development and demonstration of UI concepts and incorporate analyst feedback into the product backlog

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI with CI Poly (no exceptions)
• Bachelor's degree with 9 years of relevant experience, Master's degree with 7 years, or PhD with 4 years (or equivalent experience)
• Experience working in an Agile, Microservice cloud-based environment
• Proficiency with Java, Python, and shell scripting
• Experience with JSON, Spring, Spring Boot, JavaEE, Docker, and JavaScript frameworks (jQuery, Angular, or React)
• Ability to work 100% onsite in Herndon, Virginia

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with JIRA, Git, Junit, and Jenkins
• Experience with multiple database technologies including RDBMS, Elasticsearch, SOLR, or NoSQL (Hadoop/EMR)
