Software Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack software applications in AWS cloud environments
• Build and integrate frontend user interfaces with backend services and APIs
• Contribute to system architecture and technical design for cloud-native AWS solutions
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues across the stack
• Collaborate with engineers and architects within Agile development teams
• Support GitLab CI/CD pipelines and maintain containerized applications using Docker
• Ensure compliance with secure software development practices and federal security standards

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with minimum of 8 years' relevant experience
• Minimum of Top-Secret clearance with ability to obtain SCI
• Experience developing full-stack applications in AWS cloud environments
• Proficiency with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, or Angular
• Backend development experience using Java, Python, or Node.js
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs
• Experience with containerized applications and Docker-based workflows
• Working knowledge of AWS services (EKS, Lambda, S3, PostgreSQL, CloudWatch)
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like CloudFormation or Terraform
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
• Understanding of secure coding practices in regulated environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills across cloud environments
• Ability to work independently within Agile and DevSecOps teams
• Prior Space Weather coding experience
