About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize software libraries for communication, configuration, and parameterization of products
- Design, implement, and evolve modern software architectures and APIs
- Develop customer-oriented software solutions as well as internal applications and tools
- Build and expand automated testing environments to ensure high software quality
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and optimize the performance of existing software solutions
- Create and maintain technical specifications, documentation, and development guidelines
- Support the implementation and advancement of CI/CD processes and automated deployment pipelines
- Collaborate closely with firmware development, product management, and other specialized departments
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Technical Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable qualification
- Practical experience in software development using C# and/or C++
- Strong knowledge of application software, software libraries, and modern software architectures
- Experience with databases and interface technologies such as REST, JSON, and XML
- Proficiency with version control systems, specifically Git (GitLab)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern development/deployment processes
- Knowledge of automated testing, quality assurance, and debugging
- Fluent written and spoken German and English
- Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style
