About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop new capabilities supporting the front end processing of data for mission-critical tools
- Support the modernization of front end processing services
- Support the modernization of malware analysis and develop techniques for metadata storage
- Explore new technologies and prototype new mission tools and analytics
- Develop new algorithms and innovative techniques to address mission-related problems
Requirements
- Current or active security clearance with a polygraph
- 14+ years of software engineering experience (or 10+ years if holding a Bachelor's degree)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Experience developing containerized applications using Kubernetes or Docker
- Proficiency in Java applications and REST
- Experience with Atlassian tools and Git
- Experience with IntelliJ or Eclipse IDE
- Ability to debug complex, system-wide issues
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Kotlin
- Experience with Spring or Spring Boot
- Experience with Message Broker Software such as RabbitMQ
- Proficiency in Python
- Experience with MongoDB or Nifi
