Software Developer

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of engineers to develop new capabilities supporting front end data processing for mission-critical tools
• Support the modernization of front end processing services
• Support the modernization of malware analysis and develop metadata storage techniques for national security systems
• Explore new technologies and prototype new mission tools and analytics
• Develop new algorithms and innovative techniques to address mission-related problems

Requirements

• Current or active security clearance with a polygraph
• 7+ years of software engineering experience (or 4 years if holding a Bachelor's degree)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and Python
• Experience in Agile software environments
• Experience with micro-services frameworks and full stack solutions with large data sets
• Experience with Docker, Docker Compose, Kubernetes, and Jenkins
• Experience with GitHub, GitLab, Jira, and Confluence
• Experience with ETL processes and local caching services

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of commercial cloud services, preferably AWS
• Experience with PostgreSQL or NoSQL
• Proficiency in Go, Rust, or C++
• Experience with Vue
• Knowledge of MinIO, Clickhouse, or Graphite
• Library development experience
