Responsibilities

• Building scalable and performant software using software engineering best practices
• Facilitating discussions on code implementation, testing, and software architecture
• Collaborating with operation teams to ensure production systems are in optimal condition
• Researching the latest technologies to enhance trading systems
• Driving projects and leading new initiatives
• Engaging with the development team to resolve challenging design and coding issues

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent
• 2 to 10 years of experience building software systems
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles and best practices
• Strong knowledge in Python, C++, or Java
• Experience with network programming and Cloud (TCP/IP, HTTP, routing protocols)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Redis, RabbitMQ, GraphQL, Kafka, MongoDB, ELK, Docker, WebSocket, AMQP, TCP, or HTTP
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL Server, or Oracle
