Software Developer

Responsibilities

• Design and build data pipelines for US energy markets and Indian trading platforms
• Develop analytics, reporting infrastructure, and automation workflows
• Integrate AI and LLM capabilities to automate report generation and surface market signals
• Maintain DBT models for data transformation, testing, and layered analytics
• Architect backend components including REST APIs and scheduling logic
• Own the full software lifecycle, including production support, monitoring, and incident response
• Collaborate with product managers and domain experts to translate requirements into technical solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 2–5 years of professional software or data engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
• Experience building or maintaining data pipelines
• Familiarity with REST API development (e.g., FastAPI, Flask)
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Databricks, Delta Lake, or Apache Spark
• Knowledge of DBT (data build tool) for data modeling
• Familiarity with LLM frameworks and RAG architecture (LangChain, OpenAI APIs, etc.)
• Knowledge of US energy markets (ISO/RTO) or the Indian power sector (IEX, DISCOM)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitOps, and DevOps practices
• Exposure to observability tools like CloudWatch, Grafana, or Datadog
