Software Developer ASP.NET with C

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and support highly visible applications using .NET technologies
• Collaborate with Product Specialists and business users to evaluate requirements
• Ensure software quality through automated unit tests and continuous integration
• Provide support for developed applications and recommend resolutions for identified issues
• Work with development and support teams to formulate creative solutions to complex problems

Requirements

• Post-secondary program in computer science or a related field
• Minimum 7 years of experience in web-based application development using Microsoft technology stack
• Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET/MVC, and WCF
• Experience with Service Oriented Architectures and messaging systems like ActiveMQ or MSMQ
• Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server database design, development, and tuning
• Strong understanding of object-oriented analysis, design, and design patterns
• Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
• Experience with CI/CD and source control tools such as SVN, GIT, or VSTS
• Knowledge of automated testing tools like NUnit or WatiN

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Agile methodologies like Scrum or XP
• Exposure to VoIP systems and protocols such as SIP/RTP
• Experience developing SDKs or mobile applications for iOS, Android, or Windows Phone
