Software Developer 2

Responsibilities

• Provide full-stack Java software development in support of Enterprise Data Enablement
• Develop and prototype new capabilities to drive innovation for Data Architecture Strategy
• Deliver robust and scalable solutions for ingest, processing, transformation, and transport of large data volumes
• Work within an Agile software environment using micro-services frameworks
• Implement local caching services and ETL processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 14 years of related experience, or 18 years of related experience without a degree
• Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP) required within 7 years
• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and Python
• Experience with Docker, Docker Compose, Kubernetes, and Jenkins
• Experience with Git, GitHub, or GitLab
• Experience with Jira and Confluence

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS
• Experience working in a Linux environment
• Proficiency with Node.js
• Familiarity with Data Science methods and analysis
• Experience in developing, prototyping, and deploying new capabilities
