Software Design Group Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver software development work packages across the full development lifecycle
• Produce and follow up on software work package files for the entire development scope
• Establish consolidated reporting for assigned work packages
• Define and manage software development management plans
• Organize and lead software design reviews and development activities
• Participate in the Product Change Control Board (CCB) for software scope
• Manage commitments and changes related to software requirements
• Escalate risks or events impacting Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) commitments
• Ensure adherence to processes and standards
• Track team and development performance against objectives
• Identify and drive improvement areas to enhance development success

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Proven experience in people management and leading distributed teams
• Ability to manage teams to achieve project goals
• Experience in software development processes such as V model or Agile
• Knowledge of C / C++
• Strong technical knowledge in operating systems (Linux, RTOS etc.) and embedded software development
• Proven ability to manage relationships with various stakeholders
• Experience in planning, tracking, and delivering projects
• Excellent communication skills in English (Swedish preferred)
