Software Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Development of the helicopter's software platform
• Programming primarily in C++ for real-time and safety-critical systems
• Design and implementation of new software functions
• Development of automated test cases
• Maintenance of existing software including bug fixing and improvements
• Potential technical leadership for specific subsystems

Requirements

• University degree in software development, computer engineering, or equivalent
• Several years of experience in C++ software development within safety-critical systems
• Proficiency in both English and Swedish (written and spoken)
• Ability to work meticulously and follow quality standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a technical leadership role
• Experience with RTCA/DO-178 standards
• Experience with real-time systems
