Software Data Engineer 4

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems based on documented requirements
• Review and test software components for adherence to design requirements and document results
• Utilize appropriate software development and design methodologies
• Provide input to system design including the use of COTS and GOTS solutions
• Analyze system performance standards and investigate problem areas
• Confer with users and system engineers to develop software solutions

Requirements

• TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
• 8 years of Software Engineering experience with a Bachelor's degree (or 6 years with a Master's, or 3 years with a PhD)
• Experience designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure using OpenStack or comparable platforms
• Strong Linux and Python background
• Understanding of IT management and operations

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in system engineering disciplines
• Devops experience
• Experience using network automation tools
• Familiarity with cloud security and operations
• PowerShell familiarity
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect certifications
