About the role

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and customize software for electro-mechanical control systems used in chemical dispense, blending, and distribution systems
  • Generate and maintain technical documentation including Functional Specifications, IO Matrices, and test procedures
  • Collaborate with mechanical and electrical specialists on project teams to meet schedules and safety reviews
  • Read, interpret, redline, and validate electrical schematics and engineering drawings
  • Support manufacturing and supply management teams to ensure quality and cost-effective project goals

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience with PLC programming, specifically utilizing Ladder Logic and Structured Text
  • Experience with HMI programming
  • Proven expertise in SCADA communication (e.g., GE Cimplicity or FactoryTalk View)
  • Strong understanding of Ethernet networks, OPC Servers, and TCP/IP networking
  • Ability to perform hardware troubleshooting and validate P&IDs and electrical schematics

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency with Allen Bradley Studio 5000, Logix 5000, or Siemens TIA Portal
  • Experience with Emerson (GE) Proficy Machine Edition or Proface HMI development
  • Experience with GE Cimplicity or FactoryTalk View SE
  • Programming experience with VB or C#
