About the role
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and customize software for electro-mechanical control systems used in chemical dispense, blending, and distribution systems
- Generate and maintain technical documentation including Functional Specifications, IO Matrices, and test procedures
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary project teams to meet schedules and participate in design and safety reviews
- Read, interpret, redline, and validate electrical schematics and engineering drawings
- Support manufacturing and supply management teams to ensure quality and cost-effective project goals
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years of experience with PLC programming, specifically utilizing Ladder Logic and Structured Text
- Experience with HMI programming
- Proven expertise in SCADA communication (e.g., GE Cimplicity or FactoryTalk View)
- Strong understanding of Ethernet networks, OPC Servers, and TCP/IP networking
- Ability to read, edit, and validate P&IDs and electrical schematics
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SCADA software such as GE Cimplicity or FactoryTalk View SE
- Programming experience with VB or C#
- Proficiency with PLC software including Allen Bradley Studio 5000, Emerson Proficy Machine Edition, or Siemens TIA Portal
- HMI development experience with Emerson Proficy or Proface
