Software Configuration Management Specialist

Responsibilities

• Manage, document, and enhance organization software programs
• Ensure timely software releases using automation tools like Jenkins
• Perform advanced scripting and pipeline automation using bash, python, or groovy
• Diagnose complex CI/CD, build, and deployment issues
• Identify root causes of build and release failures and implement fixes
• Collaborate with engineering leadership, developers, and quality assurance teams
• Support software products to meet critical deadlines

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 4 years of relevant experience
• Graduate Degree with minimum 2 years of relevant experience
• Or 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• Proficiency in scripting languages (bash, python, groovy)
• Experience with Unix, Cmake, and Docker
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Active U.S. security clearance
• Advanced degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• Knowledge of Agile, DevSecOps, and containerization
• Experience with Jenkins, Artifactory, Git, Teamcenter, Collaborator, and Atlassian Tool Suite (Bitbucket, JIRA, Confluence)
• Experience with Department of Defense and intelligence community applications
• Familiarity with AS9100D and AS9115A standards
