About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software configuration management tools and processes for configuration identification, control, and reporting.
- Perform release engineering tasks to ensure software products and operating environments are documented and sustainable.
- Design, automate, and maintain productivity tools using scripting and programming technologies.
- Support CI/CD pipeline development and maintenance using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar technologies.
- Manage software repositories, branching strategies, and artifact repositories to ensure full traceability and audit readiness.
- Support automated provisioning of environments using Infrastructure-as-Code methodologies.
- Collaborate with developers, systems engineers, and cybersecurity personnel to ensure alignment with program quality standards.
- Support software quality audits, including Physical Configuration Audits (PCA) and Functional Configuration Audits (FCA).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline (Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related).
- Active DoD Secret clearance at the time of application.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- 3+ years of experience with Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD tools.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform or Ansible.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant SCM experience supporting radar or defense systems programs.
- Experience supporting Software Quality Assurance (SQA) and customer configuration audits.
- Experience working within Agile and DevSecOps software development environments.
- Ability and willingness to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.
